Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Project-to-Project Basis)

Location:

✦ Remote work with the ability to travel as needed for site visits.

✦ Projects are primarily located within New Jersey & some NYC.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a project-to-project basis. This role involves designing and developing HVAC and plumbing systems for various building types, managing client relationships, and conducting site visits to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

✦ Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, multi unit residential, and mixed-use buildings.

✦ Create and modify detailed mechanical design drawings using AutoCAD.

✦ Conduct site visits to assess existing systems, gather data, and oversee installation/implementation.

✦ Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional results.

✦ Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

✦ Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communications effectively.

Qualifications:

✦ Minimum of 9+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC and plumbing design.

✦ Demonstrated expertise in designing for commercial, apartment, and similar building types.

        ✦      Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.

✦ Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.

✦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.

✦    Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.

✦  Travel: Willingness to travel for site visits as required.
